Remember the name 'Heather Schmid'
Few new artists have so much going for them. Consider ‘MISS MILLENNIUM’
2002 HEATHER SCHMID. Her first CD release HEATHER, has sold in excess
of 10,000 units, and, several of the tracks on the CD went onto becoming
significant club staples. Her run as ‘Miss Millennium’ 2001 and now 2002
has brought her to the stages of Las Vegas, New York, and California,
performing before thousands. Her 3 1/2 octave range has attracted the
attention of industryites, with a significant buzz having already begun.
With a stage act featuring 3 backup singers; dancers; and, a tabla player,
Heather has already drawn intensely positive notices and an eager industry
and consumer base await her first major label release.
Growing up in Connecticut, Heather always knew she was destined for stardom.
Her professional modeling; 8 years of dance, TV, and music video credits
gave her not only immense confidence, but, a developing awareness of the
industry itself. As a classically trained singer from Boston University,
Heather worked hard to further develop her 3 1/2 octave range. She also
prevailed as a Top 10 finalist in a ‘Miss America’ preliminary pageant,
which led her to several theatrical roles in Boston and New York, thus
beginning an acting career. Her role on the Boston-based soap-opera 'High
Spirit' further fueled her burgeoning artistic qualities.
Heather has in the last two months succeeded in introducing herself to
some of the top flight producers, engineers, writers, and musicians on
the East Coast. Of course, good music and good programming doesn't work
without a distinctive and compelling voice. Heather has already remarked
how "Connected to the music she feels… It feels perfect so far," she says.
"I have a strong spirtual bond with my music…" When asked to describe
herself, the Bostonian-native answered. "Life…Lover… Passion. I have a
strong vision for my life and how I would like to affect people. I love
to experience life, take risks, and, enjoy the outcome."
Remember the name HEATHER SCHMID.
